je suit perdu, desolee
with Michael Patrick Thornton
curated by Udita Upadhyaya
May 17, 2016

je suis perdu, desolee employs choreographed movement involving assistive devices such as wheelchairs and walkers as well as wheel-able luggage. Mylar balloons and string, train station announcements in various languages, and the delicate physics of wheelchair choreography comprise the world thru which two Beckettian lovers travel, from home to away, in spaces private and public, socially connected and unplugged, in order to discover…something.
