Holy Cow
Installation and live performance.  Research and performance material are embodied as my body consumes meat, dances, and endeavors to breathe life back into a pile of ashes. The performance is a hybridization of research into the history of the Chicago Stock-yards and cattle herding of the American West with a re-interpretation (from a performance memory) of Ellen Fisher’s 1984 performance at SAIC of Dungeons and Basements - a performance exploring ritual, death, and reincarnation.

Shown at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. May, 2013.
